The Gordon County Chamber of Commerce has completed all the requirements necessary to have Calhoun-Gordon County named a Georgia Work Ready Certified Community of Excellence. The formal announcement was made by Melvin Everson, Director of the Georgia Office of Workforce Development, at the May 27 Booster Breakfast sponsored by Winter & Scoggins, CPAs.
